The Bike Campaign's Equity Statement

The Bike Campaign prioritizes equity and inclusion throughout our services and programs. We welcome and serve thousands of community members from from diverse backgrounds, genders, races, ethnicities, nationalities, religions, incomes, and abilities.

The Bike Campaign sees biking as a tool to equalize transportation in our communities while reducing the status of car-driven privilege and the stigma of bike-riding. We provide education to children at the elementary school level, which helps to diminish barriers for families that did not grow up with bikes as a primary form of transportation. Thanks to our partnerships with local school districts, we encourage staff and families to ride or walk to school instead of driving, thus creating lifelong habits.
